You bring your history and you read it in your own terms." ...Angela Carter About Cat's Original Booktales Born in San Francisco, California during the height of the hippy era, I was exposed early to peace signs, incense, beads, black light posters and intense vibrant colors. The idea for Booktales® was developed from an old leather belt, with bones, that I owned for over two decades. Attracted to natural things, I could not throw this belt away. So, I cut it in strips, tied bones to each end and decided to place it in an book I was reading. An idea was born, "what a beautiful way to mark your page". My Goal: My goal is to encourage people; especially young people to read. My Legacy: Each Booktale® that I create is an expression of me. My Wish: I do hope that you enjoy them, as much as I do!
